Job Summary:
As a Driver, you are responsible for delivering our high quality products, operating up to a 26 ft. box truck to transport inventory to our retail locations in Illinois, Dallas, Houston, New York and Philadelphia along with the Greater St. Louis Region. Our ideal candidate must be responsible, efficient, and possess strong time management skills in order to meet company needs/expectations. The delivery driver must maintain a welcoming, comfortable, and positive environment in line with company values and culture.
About you:
- Well-organized and detail oriented, able to properly complete tickets, bills of lading, trip sheets, logs, incident reports, and other paperwork.
- Take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of inventory, equipment, and vehicles.
- Communicate well and build strong relationships, capable of providing updates to supervisors regularly.
- Excellent problem solver, anticipating issues with vehicles or delivery routes and providing solutions.
- Manage time well, preparing and inspecting the truck before and after meeting scheduled deliveries.
- Hold a valid driver’s license; CDL license is a plus.
- Are able to operate a vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Have at least one year of commercial driving experience.
- Are able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time, enter and exit a vehicle frequently, and load and unload often.
